The Global Service Center for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party participated in the annual Chinese New Year Parade in Flushing, New York, on February 5. The parade concession was very colorful and brought New Year blessings to spectators. Falun Dafa practitioners relayed the message to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP, and its youth organizations).
The Epoch Times published an editorial series promoting withdrawal from the CCP and its youth organizations in 2004, and the Global Service Center for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party was established thereafter to help people withdraw from the Party. Eighteen years have passed, and a total of 390 million people have withdrawn from the CCP and its youth organizations.
The parade took place on Main Street in Flushing. The Global Service Center for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party procession had many banners, a 10-foot-long golden dragon and two Chinese lion dances accompanied by drums. Spectators took pictures and watched from both sides of the street. People took turns to touch the Chinese lions, because the lion is a symbol for good luck and prosperity for the New Year.
Along with banners that had “Happy New Year” greetings, other banners encouraged people to quit the CCP and its youth organizations and spread the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
A total of 213 people withdrew from the CCP and its youth organizations on the day of the parade.
Ms. Han, a volunteer for the Global Service Center for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party talk to a man in his fifties: “Sir, I wish you a very Happy Chinese New Year! The CCP has covered up the truth of this pandemic and caused more than 350 million people to be infected by this CCP virus (coronavirus). 5.74 million people have died as a result of CCP’s selfishness. You once swore to give your life to the Party! Let me help you quit the Party and come up with a pseudonym in order for you to stay safe.”
The man agreed and said, “The CCP is rotten to core and I have long wished to break away from it.” Ms. Han came up with a pseudonym and the man happily quit the Party. The man told Ms. Han, “Falun Dafa practitioners are very righteous and admirable people!”
Ms. Wang, another volunteer for the Global Service Center for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party, told the truth to Ms. Lin.
Ms. Lin said, “Look at those people raising the evil Chinese Communist red flags! Foul words come out of their mouths. I asked them, ‘Why did you come to the United States if you’d think the CCP is that great?’ They began cursing at me and even wanted to hit me. Their behavior is no different than thugs.” After witnessing the behavior of these people, Ms. Lin decided to quit the CCP and it youth organizations.
