A volunteer from China | Minghui

I began to practice Falun Dafa in 1996. Within two months, all my illnesses were gone. I could walk normally and with agility.

I was often on sick leave at work and my husband always traveled around for the best doctors hoping to treat me. All these also affected his work performance.

Before every business trip, my husband would worry about how to tell me about his upcoming absence. As soon as I heard, I would faint from the stress of being left at home alone. It was a nightmare for my entire family.

At almost 70, I am now healthier than some young people in their 20s. I do everything in the family including household chores and taking care of my grandchildren and elderly mother.

In my spare time I often share with people my positive experiences with Falun Dafa and debunk the hate propaganda against the practice perpetuated by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). I also urge people to separate themselves from the CCP organizations for a better future. Below are some examples.

Government Official Removes the Party Emblem

One time I explained to someone the benefits of Falun Dafa, how the CCP abuses China’s justice system to arrest and torture practitioners, how the persecution has killed practitioners and torn their families apart, and how the regime has even killed practitioners and sold their organs for transplants.

“Do you know I am a government official who came here to do an inspection?” he asked me while showing his ID.

“That is fine,” I replied. “You know, no matter what kind of job we do, our health and safety are always the most important.”

When I talked about quitting the CCP organizations for a safe future, he immediately agreed. He also removed the Party emblem he was wearing and said he would watch videos in the USB drive I gave him.

“I Finally Found You”

Once I met a retired government official. After we talked about Falun Dafa and the persecution, he agreed to quit the CCP organizations. In addition to the materials I gave him, he also asked for a copy of Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Dafa. I gave him a copy and he was very happy.

When I passed by that place a month later, I saw someone quickly walking toward me. It was the official.

“After I met you last time, I came here every day waiting for you,” he said. “I finally found you!”

He said the CCP is vicious and he wanted to make sure I was safe.

Later on, he went back to his former workplace and talked with a person who used to practice Falun Dafa. After explaining to the coworker what he had heard, this official also urged the coworker to resume practicing Falun Dafa. “It’s so good. You should keep doing it!”

Police Officer: I Don’t Care About Surveillance and Will Quit the Party

I live in northeastern China and we make pickled vegetables each year. On the third day of the Chinese New Year holiday in 2010, several friends came to visit me and enjoy my homemade dumplings with pickled vegetable fillings. I prepared some DVDs and other materials for them and talked about Dafa during the meal.

One of them was an officer working in the local criminal police division. He called out in the yard, “I will quit the CCP!”

When looking around, he saw surveillance cameras installed by village officials.

“Well, I don’t care about the surveillance. I will quit the Party!” he shouted.

Several others also said they’d quit the CCP.

“I don’t want to be left behind. I will quit too!” one woman said.

A Buddhist in her 40s was very happy to hear about Dafa and its principles of “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.”

“You are so nice and are like a Bodhisattva,” she said.

Chinese Human Rights Lawyers Circulate Open Letter to Shanghai Authorities Appealing for Journalist Zhang Zhan to Receive Emergency Medical Treatment

We say that Zhang Zhan’s innocence manifests not only in the sense of natural law, but also in the sense of practical law. Her benign behavior places no menace on society, and is wholly inconsistent with the criminal definition of “picking quarrels and provoking trouble.” Zhang Zhan’s civil disobedience to persecution can be justified from all three aspects of law, reason, and conscience.
