Women inmate in an extrajudicial detention centers where torture and forced labor are commonplace (Newsbeat Social)

I was illegally detained for filing a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), for directing the persecution of Falun Gong. The complaints were sent to the Supreme People’s Court and Supreme People’s Procuratorate.

During my time in the detention center, I crossed paths with criminals, drug addicts, a doctor, and officials, all of whom radically improved their behavior after learning about Falun Dafa.

Two criminals decided to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations after I helped them understand the CCP’s role in persecuting Falun Dafa. They shouted, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!”. They were released from the detention center the next day.

Inmates Steal My Food

Food was provided only once per day in the detention center, and it consisted of a corn bun and white radish soup with mud in the bottom of the bowl. There wasn’t nearly enough to eat unless one’s family could send in food for them.

My family once sent in a few pears for me, but two young female drug addicts stole them. Others tried to stop them, but I stepped in, saying, “Let them eat! There’s nothing else to eat here. They’re starving.”

Before this incident, these two addicts weren’t willing to listen to anything I had to say. However, after I let them have the pears, they agreed to quit the CCP. They said they would no longer swear at others, and apologized for their past behavior.

The first thing they did after their release was to buy me a smoked chicken. I was moved by their kind act.
