The number of the withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations reached 300 million, marking a major milestone in the Quit-the-CCP movement.
Tuidang, the Global Center for Quitting the CCP in California held a march and a rally in San Francisco’s Chinatown on April 7 to support the withdrawals and call upon more Chinese to abandon the party.
Welcoming a New China Without the Communist Party
Han Hua, a Falun Gong practitioner and a volunteer of the Global Center of Quitting the Party, has helped thousands of Chinese tourists in San Francisco to quit the CCP in the last five years.
Han gave a speech at the rally. He pointed out that many Chinese have changed their attitude toward quitting the Party, from being resistant to accepting. More and more people are happy to have a chance to publicly announce their withdrawal.
“Abandon the Party, and welcome a new China without the Party,” he urged the audience at the end of his speech.
In his rally speech, political columnist Lan Shu praised the new book The Ultimate Goal of Communism published bythe editorial office of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
The book pointed out that the ultimate goal of communism is to destroy human beings, starting with the destruction of traditional values.
Democracy activist Chen Yongming, who was jailed in China for 12 years, highly praised Falun Gong practitioners in his speech.
“Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is truly great. I thank Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong. China would have no hope if it wasn’t for Falun Gong. I thank Falun Gong practitioners for pushing the movement of quitting the Party forward.”
