A girl in my music class was talking to herself during class. The music teacher sent her outside to stand as punishment.
The girl was standing alone and crying. I stood by her side, and told her: “Nowadays teachers have no love for us. It is all because of brainwashing by the Chinese communist party (CCP). We are all CCP’s victims.”
I explained how history showed that the CCP always taught disrespect and caused hate among people so they would fight with one another.
She listened very carefully. “Now people all want to quit the CCP and its youth organizations. You should quit the Young Pioneers.” I told her.
We didn’t notice that the girl’s mother was nearby and had heard our conversation. Her mom said to me: “You are a good kid. I want to quit too.” Another girl who was nearby and overheard the conversation also asked to quit the Young Pioneers.
Respect between classmates
A classmate swore at me and accused me of stealing his pen: “How could you steal my pen!” he shouted. I said: “You lost your pen? Take mine.” He took my pen and returned to his seat. He then found his pen in his stationary. He was very embarrassed and apologized to me. I smiled and said: “It’s OK.” I saw my classmate’s face turn red. I had never seen his face turn red before- even when others insulted him. But this time, his face turned red. From then on, he respected me and we became close friends.
One day while we were playing a game, I persuaded him to quit the CCP’s youth organization- the Young Pioneers.
