Sydney saw another heat wave on November as temperatures climbed above 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit). While the heat kept most people inside air conditioned buildings, Falun Gong practitioners who also are Tuidang volunteers, in Parramatta a bustling commercial and business area of Metro Sydney, including four in their 70s, continued to raise awareness of China’s persecution of Falun Gong and offering Chinese to quit the CCP and its affiliated.
“This is something I choose to do,” said Ms. Wang Xiaofang, a 70-year-old woman who had been holding an information display board in the heat for three hours and still appeared firm and energetic.
Several Chinese also walked by. “They don’t need a lot of persuading,” said Rachel, a younger practitioner at the event. “They are willing to quit the Party and its affiliated organizations.

“I met one Chinese man, about 30 years old. At first he was not interested.” Rachel explained why and how the CCP launched a political campaign to eradicate Falun Gong, including harvesting organs from Falun Gong prisoners of conscience.
“I told him that the Communist Party is no different from a criminal organization. I said, ‘You are a righteous man–you should make a moral and conscientious choice and withdraw from it.’ He agreed to quit the CCP and its affiliates,” said Rachel.
